Stanley 65-Piece General Homeowner’s Tool Set Review

Most households end up with a tool set eventually, but because tools are so easily lost, it never hurts to have another waiting in the wings.  Since everybody’s been asking for stuff for their husbands, this is the best I could come up with on short notice.  For some better ideas, I’ll be consulting with my husband (who, by the way, loved the Zojirushi Mr. Bento Lunch Jar).

The Stanley 65 Piece General Homeowner’s Tool Set is a great set for anyone who just wants to be able to basically measure things, put furniture together, and fix random things around the house.  Even if your husband has a big tool chest out in the garage or a shed, it’s easier to have this somewhere inside the house for the small jobs you don’t need any specialized tools or help with.

The case that it comes in has handles and includes a hammer, a wrench, pliers, and a screwdriver set. Allen wrenches and a ratchet set are also included.

I grew up having all kinds of tools at my disposal and now that I am getting married and moving half way around the world I won’t have that because I am essentially the one who is going to be responsible for everything around the house including the repairs because my soon to be husband will be so focused on his career as a boxer and can’t afford to hurt his himself on hous repairs so i will really need some good tools to tend to the repairs that all of his huge family and my kids are sure to cause.

My husband is a mechanic and could always use the tools! He is hoping to one day open his own shop and tools can be very expensive so this would be great for him!
